Slavic Mythology: Morena / Mara / Marzanna
• Morana or Morena is the goddess of winter, death, disease and nightmares. In winter, she walks throughout the land, leaving everything weak and unviable to die. She has a lit oil lamp for every mortal which cannot be peeked into. When the lamp goes out, the mortal departs to the realm of the dead. She is often depicted as an old woman in black or as a young woman with black hair in a white dress, with a veil studded with diamonds and a crown on her head. Her symbols include, for example, a sickle, a spruce tree, a raven and a lamp.⠀

• I ship via the fastest available mail with a tracking number, ensuring your order won’t
get lost. If there’s any issue with the shipment, please don’t hesitate to contact me, and
